割肉相啖

There were two people who lived in the west and east end of the capital city of the state of Qi respectively. Both of them liked to boast of their bravery.

One day, they met by chance on road and then went to drink in a restaurant together. After a few drinks, one of them said to the other, "We need to get some meat to eat while drinking!" The other one Said, "There is much flesh on your body and there is a lot of flesh on my body too. Need we look for it somewhere else?"

Both of them thought it made sense. So they prepared the condiments(調味品), took out the knife and cut off the flesh on their bodies and ate until they lay on the ground dead.

一天，兩人偶然在路上相遇，便一齊到酒館喝酒。幾杯下肚之后，其中一個說：“弄點肉來下酒才好!另一個說：“你身上有的是肉，我身上也有的是肉，還用得著另外找肉嗎?

兩人都以為這說法有道理，于是準備好調料，拔出刀來，割下自己身上的肉蘸著吃，兩人一直吃到躺下死去為止。
