(關(guān)于so/not用于代替從句

　　A Will it be expensive?

　　I should/would think so./I should think it would.I shouldnt think it would./I shouldnt/wouldnt think so./I should/would think not.

　　這個(gè)會(huì)很貴嗎?

　　我想是的。/我想不。

　　回答這一類(lèi)問(wèn)題時(shí)，回答人暗示他并不確實(shí)知道，只是憑印象而言。 I should/would think 表示的語(yǔ)氣沒(méi)有I think那么肯定。

　　should/would think引導(dǎo)一個(gè)附加評(píng)論時(shí)，一般不能用so/ not。這時(shí)必須使用that從句：

　　Hes an astrologer， looking for work.

　　I shouldnt/wouldnt think that hed find it easy to get work.

　　他是一個(gè)星相家，正在找工作。

　　我想他大概不會(huì)感到找到一份工作是容易的。

　　B 如果評(píng)論發(fā)生在過(guò)去的動(dòng)作，可以用should/would have thought：

　　He actually got a job as an astrologer.

　　I shouldnt/wouldnt have thought that it was possibe to do that.

　　他真的以星相家的身份找了一份工作。

　　我本來(lái)認(rèn)為那是不可能的。

　　C should/would have expected+不定式結(jié)構(gòu)/that從句也是可行的。有時(shí)非人稱(chēng)代詞you可代替I：

　　She has emigrated.

　　Has she? Youd/Id have expected her to stay in this country.

　　她移居國(guó)外了。

　　是嗎?人們/我還以為她會(huì)留在國(guó)內(nèi)的。
